A Tsunami
One year ago, I was with my parents at the seaside. We were having alot of fun! I was just about to go in the water to swim, but all of a sudden the water went far back. My parents didnt pay it much attention, but I suddenly remembered what I learnt in school about tsunami, and one of them was about to hit the beach we were on! I ran out of the water and told my parents. They quickly packed up our things while I was yelling "A tsunami is approaching! Run!". Everybody was running away from the water and to the nearest building. Me and my parents ran back into our hotel and we went up the stairs to the 10th floor and looked out the window. As predicted, a big wave came crashing down and the streets started to flood. Thankfully, the wave wasn't very big. A few people got hurt but nobody died.
The next day, me and my parents went back home. Before leaving, some people who were on the beach yesterday thanked me for alerting them. I was feeling great!
In the end, everything turned out well.
