Well there are a lot of diferences between climbing and skiing like, in climbing you have to go up and at skiing you have to go down. You can do climbing anytime , but for skiing , you have to do it on snow. Climbing strengthens your hands and forearms, biceps, shoulders, neck, traps, upper back, lats, lower back, abs, glutes, thighs and calves. While skiing just your legs. Another big diference is the recomended climate of the sport. When you are climbing it should be warm and when you are skiing it should be cold. Even the age restriction is different,you can learn skiing even at 5 till age 70. Well, at climbing you should atleast be 18 and not be older than 55.Because at that age you would have problems with the itensity of oxigen from the air.
